Inpatient Care
Acute care hospitalization services are provided for a broad range of illnesses Birthing Room at YDHCand all patient ages.


Obstetric and Delivery
Services are provided for obstetrical patients and their newborns in a state of the art Birthing Room, which includes a whirlpool tub to assist with the labor process.

Swing bed
This Medicare based program allows Medicare patients to continue to receive care or rehabilitative services, once their acute care needs have been met. Admission into this program is only allowed when a patient requires a "skilled" nursing or rehabilitative service, according to Medicare guidelines.

24-hour Emergency Care
Emergency Services are available to all patients that present themselves for care of any type, 24 hours per day. Staff are well trained with the last knowledge on techniques, stabilization, transfer and equipment that allow care to provide for any illness or health event that occurs.

Sleep Studies
Sleep Studies are available, with a physician order and are provided at Yuma District Hospital through the Mobile Sleep Studies company. Sleep studies are ordered to assist with diagnosing respiratory concerns that may be interfering with sleep. Treatment plans, based on this information, are then set in place to correct the issue that is causing the patient's symptoms.

Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy treatments are available and administered by a certified chemotherapy nurse.
