Home Health Care
Yuma District Hospital offers a variety of outpatient services, including Home Health Care. The YDH Home Health Department employs Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a Physical Therapist Assistant. The services of an Occupational Therapist and a Licensed Social Worker are also available through the Department.
The wide range of services provided by the YDH Home Health Department include:
Nursing Services, including dressing changes, IV infusion therapy, medication teaching, blood draws, post surgical care, colostomy teaching, tube feedings, disease management and education.
Rehabilitation Services include home therapy for post surgery, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, and generalized weak and physically debilitated patients.
YDH Home Health Care provides service for all of Yuma County and the eastern part of Washington County. This includes the towns of Yuma, Otis, Platner, Akron, Lindon, Anton, Cope, Joes, Kirk, Idalia, Vernon, Mildred, Wray, Laird, Clarkville, and Lonestar.
